England's national team has already clinched their place in the 2010 world cup, in part, thanks to three Chelsea players: John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole. England has put away 8 opponents in a row and are in top form going into the largely benign match against Ukraine. Lampard is coming off a brace of goals against Croatia-more than he has had this Premeir league season- bringing his tally up to 20 in his national career. Terry had a fine goal against the Ukraine national team earlier on in group play in Englands 2-1 win. Even though Englands team has already done all the work they need to do in the group stages, and even amongst the relatively inane furor caused by the match not being broadcast, England should win with aplomb. England 3 - Ukraine 1
